dahi vada masala almond nogurt
Fluffy vadas smothered in Break of Dawn Masala Almond Nogurt and sprinkled with spices. A modern twist on a beloved Indian snack.

Ingredients
- 1 cup split urad dal (black gram), soaked for 4-5 hours
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1-inch piece ginger, grated
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- Salt, to taste
- Oil for frying
- 240 ml Break of Dawn Masala Almond Nogurt
- ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- 1-2 tbsp tamarind chutney (optional)
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
- Drain and rinse the soaked urad dal.
- Blend it in a food processor with green chili, ginger, cumin seeds, and salt until you achieve a smooth batter.
- If needed, add a little water.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Soak the fried vadas in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften them.
- Gently squeeze out the excess water from the vadas and place them on a serving plate.
- Pour the Break of Dawn Masala Almond Nogurt over the vadas.
- Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, and drizzle with tamarind chutney if using.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve immediately as a refreshing appetizer or snack!
